1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LUMARANA’s website, services, and educational content (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. AGE REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

LUMARANA offers age-appropriate content and services for different user groups:

2.1 Users Under 14 Years of Age

Users under 14 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian create and manage their account. Parents or guardians are responsible for all activity on accounts created for minors under 14.

2.2 Users Ages 14-17 (Teen Accounts)

Users ages 14-17 may create their own accounts and will have access to age-appropriate educational content curated by LUMARANA. This includes access to the Mandala meditation tool, select blog content, and educational materials about terpene chemistry and plant science.

2.3 Users 18 and Over (Full Access)

The FOUNDATIONS course and adult-focused cannabis educational content are restricted to users 18 years of age and older. By purchasing the FOUNDATIONS course or accessing cannabis-specific content, you certify that you are 18 years of age or older.

2.4 Legal Compliance

Cannabis laws vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your use of our Services complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws in your area. LUMARANA currently serves users in the United States only.

3. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE AND DISCLAIMERS

3.1 Not Medical Advice

LUMARANA provides educational content only. Nothing on our platform constitutes medical, legal, or professional advice.

Our courses, tools, and content are designed to provide information about cannabis chemistry, terpenes, essential oils, and related topics. This information is for educational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare providers before making decisions about your health.

3.2 Cannabis Legal Status

Cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law in the United States. State and local laws vary significantly regarding cannabis legality, medical use, and recreational use. LUMARANA does not promote, encourage, or facilitate illegal activity. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

3.3 No Product Sales or Recommendations

LUMARANA does not sell cannabis products and does not recommend specific cannabis products, brands, or consumption methods. Any mention of products or brands is for educational illustration only.

4. SERVICES AND OFFERINGS

LUMARANA offers the following services:

4.1 Mandala Meditation Generator (Free Access)

All registered users have access to the Mandala meditation tool, a visual meditation and consciousness exploration tool. Free access includes basic features and the ability to save meditation patches.

4.2 Mandala Meditation Generator Subscription ($3/month)

The $3/month subscription tier includes expanded Mandala machine features, enhanced patch saving capabilities, and the ability to share patches with the community. This subscription automatically renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time.

4.3 FOUNDATIONS Course ($450 one-time purchase)

FOUNDATIONS is LUMARANA’s comprehensive educational course covering cannabis chemistry, terpene science, and molecular literacy. This course is restricted to users 18 years of age and older. By purchasing this course, you certify that you are 18 or older.

The FOUNDATIONS course includes:

• 28 comprehensive lessons
• Audio narration for each lesson
• Written course text and materials
• PDF workbooks and reference materials
• Online access to all course content

Course access is provided through the LUMARANA website and requires an internet connection. Course materials are for personal educational use only and may not be downloaded, shared, or distributed. You retain access to purchased course content for as long as your account remains active, subject to Section 9 (Termination).

5. BILLING, PAYMENTS, AND SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT

5.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. LUMARANA does not use partial dollar amounts or cents in pricing.

5.2 Automatic Renewal (Subscriptions)

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew every 30 days unless cancelled. You authorize LUMARANA to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period. You are responsible for maintaining current payment information.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting hello@lumarana.com.

Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid subscription features until the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless you request a refund within the 90-day refund window (see Section 6).

5.4 Price Changes

LUMARANA reserves the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes apply to subsequent billing cycles. You will be notified via email before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of the Services after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. REFUND POLICY

6.1 Course Refunds

The FOUNDATIONS course and other educational courses are eligible for a full refund within 90 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a course refund, contact hello@lumarana.com within 90 days of your purchase date. Upon refund approval, your access to the course will be revoked and your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days.

6.2 Subscription Refunds

Monthly subscriptions (such as the Mandala subscription) may be refunded within 90 days of any charge. To request a subscription refund:

• Contact hello@lumarana.com within 90 days of the charge date
• Upon refund approval, your last charge will be refunded and your access to paid subscription features will end at the end of your current billing cycle
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method

If you cancel a subscription without requesting a refund, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle, but no refund will be provided.

6.3 Refund Method and Timing

All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement after approval. The exact timing may depend on your financial institution’s processing times.

7. USER ACCOUNTS AND CONTENT

7.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify LUMARANA immediately at hello@lumarana.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

7.2 User-Generated Content

Users may create and share meditation patches and other content through our Services. By uploading content, you grant LUMARANA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Services. You retain ownership of your content.

7.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malicious code or viruses
• Is harassing, abusive, or harmful to others
• Promotes illegal drug use or activity
• Is inappropriate for the age groups who may access it

8. PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Parents and guardians who create accounts for users under 14 years of age are responsible for:

• Monitoring their child’s use of LUMARANA Services
• Ensuring age-appropriate access to content
• All activity conducted through the minor’s account
• Maintaining the security of account credentials

Parents may manage their child’s account settings and content access through the parental controls provided in the account dashboard.

9. TERMINATION

LUMARANA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, misuse of Services, or providing false age information.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Purchased course content may remain accessible after voluntary account closure, but will be revoked if termination is due to violation of these Terms.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, course materials, meditation tools, and designs, are owned by LUMARANA or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission. Course materials are for personal educational use only and may not be shared, distributed, or used for commercial purposes.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMARANA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Services
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Services
• Any bugs, viruses, or malicious code transmitted through the Services
• Any errors or omissions in content or any loss or damage incurred as a result of use of content
• Any actions taken based on educational content provided through the Services

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LUMARANA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Any false age certification or misrepresentation

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting LUMARANA at hello@lumarana.com.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

LUMARANA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the Services at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services and cancel your account.

15. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LUMARANA regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
